EVERY STEP MATTERS: ECSTATIC DANCE | AUGUST 14, 2025 | NYC
Join us for a night of embodied reflection, soulful movement, and community connection as we explore the theme of Ekev, a word that holds so much in its heels. At its core, Ekev means heel, the part of the foot that touches the earth first. It carries the body with each step. It bears weight. It grounds us. The heel is quiet but essential. It reminds us that movement begins in the places we often overlook. Ekev can also mean consequence, the results of our choices. And it can mean because, a whisper of the reasons behind our actions. This dance is an invitation to move with all of it. To notice where we begin. To consider what follows. To listen for what’s underneath. In the Torah, Ekev calls our attention to the small mitzvot, the ones we might be tempted to dismiss. But nothing is small in the eyes of healing. Sometimes, it’s the gentle return to breath. The way we keep showing up. The quiet courage to start again. No choreography. No judgment. Just music, movement, and meaning. We’ll dance barefoot to come back to the ground beneath us. We’ll move from the heels up, letting our bodies lead. Each step becomes an offering. Each movement a way to listen inward and release what no longer serves. You don’t have to feel a certain way to belong here. You don’t have to show up with clarity or ease. Just come as you are. Bring your breath, your presence, your whole self. You are welcome here. Every part of you. Every step. Every consequence. Every beginning.

Into Action: Ecstatic Dance | July 17, 2025 | NYC
Join us for Into Action, an evening of ecstatic dance inspired by Parashat Pinchas, a weekly Torah portion that invites us to step forward with purpose. When the community was in crisis, Pinchas didn’t look away. He acted. Not for recognition, but because something inside him said: This moment is mine to meet. We dance from that knowing. That we are meant to be here. That our presence matters. That there is a role only we can play, and it begins with showing up fully. No choreography. No pressure. Just movement from the inside out, a space to feel, release, and remember that your life has meaning. All are welcome. Come exactly as you are.
