Living with Intention: Crafting Your Personal Mission Statement

  • 14th Street Y 344 East 14th Street New York, NY, 10003 United States (map)

Facilitated by Jeremy Pool

Associate Director of Programs, 14Y Selah

When life feels unsteady or unclear, a personal mission statement can become a compass — a reminder of what matters most and how we want to live.

In this interactive evening, Jeremy Pool will guide participants through a reflective process to clarify core values, explore lived experience, and begin crafting a personal mission statement rooted in recovery, purpose, and growth.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Clarify your values and life principles

  • Identify what grounds you during challenge or transition

  • Articulate a personal mission statement that feels authentic and empowering

  • Use your mission as a tool for recovery, direction, and alignment

This session is designed for anyone seeking clarity — whether you’re in recovery, navigating a transition, or simply asking deeper questions about who you are and how you want to show up in the world.

Expect guided reflection, thoughtful writing prompts, and space to connect with yourself and others.

Please bring something to write with.
